Shipping & Returns

I pack and ship every kit myself, so here's exactly how it works, and what happens if something isn't right.

Shipping

Kits ship from New York. I pack and send each one myself, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order.

Shipping is a flat $7, always. No surprise math at checkout. Kits go out USPS, or UPS when that gets them there faster, and you'll get a tracking number by email so you can follow along. Most orders arrive within 2 to 7 business days once they're on their way.

Where kits ship

Kits ship to addresses in the United States. Prices are in US dollars, and sales tax, where it applies, is calculated on the checkout page.

No returns

Here's the thing: you'll need it. That's the whole point. Every kit is packed for a move that's already underway, so all sales are final and I can't take kits back.

If something arrives damaged or wrong

If your kit shows up damaged, or something is missing or not what you ordered, email me within 7 days at olivia@albanymakingmoves.com with a quick photo and your order number. I'll send a replacement or refund you, and you won't need to ship anything back.

Changed your mind?

Email me right away. If your kit hasn't shipped yet, I'll cancel the order and refund it in full. Once it's on its way, the no-returns policy above applies.
